    Jumping idel

I need help with this quickly guys. My car starts up fine but the idel will jump from 1800-2200 rpm. Its a very steady bouncing, it causes the MPG to jump as well. My ICV is good. Please give me some ideas of stuff I can check.

Vaccum leaks are a major casue of jumpy idle. Check all your rubber under the hood and connections at the throttle body.

Switched the throttle body out for another one I had and checked all my vacumm lines. Is there no one on this forum that can atleast tell me what to check?????? What are things that could cause a jumping idel?

Just looking at the lines doesnt mean that you actually checked them for a vacuum leak btw. Get a vacuum gauge for cheap from Autozone or something and see how much vacuum the car has at idle. It should be around 17-20Hg or so.

Will youve been one of only few to help me out. Thanks

I think its either the ECU or the harness that runs to the ICV. Im burnt out but Ill check a few more things later.
