    Humidity and water building up

    In my rotor and cap. I was having issues with the car not running right and not wanting to start after it rained or if it was raining. I pulled the cap and rotor and it was like somebody sprayed water in it with a water bottle or something. There wasn't a gasket between the head and the rotor cap not sure if one is supposed to be there I looked at real oem and didnt see one.

    Anyone know how to stop this from happening? I cleaned it all up and it fired up right after so that's gotta be the issue. should I make my own or what would you guys suggest.

    There is supposed to be a thin o-ring between the cap and aluminum mounting housing...

      New caps tend to come with those gaskets/orings, though I don't see why a bead of RTV wouldn't serve you fine in this application.
