    Thermostat bypass valve delete questions

It seems that this is a common delete. Who can provide help on the procedure? I am most concerned with the SMALL hose coming off of the bypass valve, and it's routing. P/N is 64118391926.

oh that hose. i did this to a late model e30 and just bought the hose from a early model. early models didn't have a heater valve. so you keep the t hose that goes from the coolant bottle on the driver side but you take the hose off from the back of the head and you connect this hose

using the hose from the early model deletes the heater valve. hope it made sense

No need to customize anything to delete that bypass valve. Simply order a new thermostat housing to heater core hose and new cylinder head to heater core hose and install them. I remove that valve on every E30 I touch.
