Is it possible my fuel tank is leaking?

Hey r3v,

So when I was changing out my rear shocks/springs...

I saw a drop of liquid on the "nipple" where the rear spring goes... I touched it, and smelled it... Wasn't sure if it was fuel or not... It could have been?

If there was a leak in my fuel tank, would it make sense for it to drip down to there?

Any solutions if so?

If it was fuel you would have definitely known.

If it was on the right side of the car, yeah, it certainly could be fuel...
the filler and vapor pipes run up there...

t
