Question for those with the SMT-6 maf conversion

In getting the volatge singles correct from the MAF to the ECU did you have to adjust the signal by any more then 14% at any range? I'm looking for cheaper ways to do the conversion and may of found one but it only allows 14% range of adjustment of the signals.

mine was something like adding .5 - .8 volts across the range to make it match up decently.

cool you said the starting value at idle was 1.33 volts right? so that should be with in 14% of it. This unit is $175 but will require custom wiring and maybe a GM maf.

        What unit is that,

Does it allow for ignition tuning, possible boost control, nox control, and other ?

It's made for GM LS1's and eclipse and only allows for the fuel ratio changes no timing, no boost.
The unit is Called a MAF Translator.

sounds kinda expensive for a $20 circuit...

but i guess still cool if it works. Are you going to try one out?

I may try it. I'd get the SMT-6 but want just the bare basics. If I new who to make the ciruict I'd make one, the unit is almost identical to the split second kit but uses internal knobs instead of external.
