    I haven't yet, that's what I was going to start doing. The Bently is short on information about DME pins, or I'm missing something. I've been reading through post four here. I'm not sure where he got his info but I figured I'd try that out. I really think I'm just missing power somewhere, or something dumb like that.

    Did you check power and grounds at the DME connector? Maybe you are not getting power to the DME at all?

    Are you talking about the DME or the obc that I've swapped with a euro clock? My DME runs a friends car fine. His DME failed to produce spark in mine.

    I've already changed the coil with one from my other e30. It also does not produce spark. I've got the plug directly plugged into the coil, thus eliminating the wires, cap and rotor from the equation.

    I hear ya I was so close with my m30 swap. If your getting power to the coil but nothing to the distributor and no spark at the coil. Try changin the coil?

    So, put in the sensor from the car that had the broken T-belt and I still get no spark. :( This is one of the most frustrating things I've ever dealt with. I feel like I'm second guessing everything I've done. The only thing I really have left is checking pins for power and continuity. I'm just about to the point of towing it to a professional.

    Yep. I've tested the resistance of both. The Bentley says 540 +/- 40 and they are both within that spec.
