Engine Stand

What sort of engine stand do i need to hold an M20 engine? Are the stands usually universal and where do they attach to an M20 engine? Will they hold a complete engine or only the block and head etc?

Any universal stand should work. You bolt it to the threaded transmission bolt holes.

I'd recommend you use a stand with like this:
