Hi everyone
I drive a 1987 325 and I am having a no start issue.
Back story:
My battery finally started to lose energy while driving leaving me stranded on the streets. I bought a brand new battery, and a brand new Bosch alternator. Recharged the battery and drove about another week before my car died again. This time I assumed it was my starter, and that it was draining energy from my car when cranking. I bought and installed a brand new starter. At this point, my car stopped working. Whenever I turn the ignition, the car cranks but does not turn over.
Since then, I have installed new copper spark plugs, (used) spark plug wires, new distributor cap and rotor, a new ignition coil, and a new crank positioner sensor.
There is power to my ignition coil, and (using a volt meter) power to my spark plugs. My car continues to crank, and not turn over.
...ECU? starter? ...thought?
Appreciated
