    WTF is this thing?

I'm usually pretty good about searching/finding answers, but given i have no idea what it is, I'm not sure where to start. Has two wires connected to it and looks like a probe of some sort -- part of the AC? Bottom line, where do it go?

Thanks man, I'm still having a hard time finding the receptacle. I know where the blower case is, but short of taking everything apart around it, it's fairly cramped and tough to spot where this goes in. Any additional direction would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a pic of the left (driver) side of my removed heater box. The red arrow points to your sensor.

Just an FYI...if you change your evaporator the fins have to be pierced to allow that probe to fit. I used my probe to do that and it's soft enough to bend from the force. It wound up blocking my blend flap so I went all winter with max 75% heat.

Fortunately I had a spare so used a small screwdriver to establish the hole in the fins to solve the problem.
