    idle problem...

recently my car has been idling weird. sometimes while i drive it would just die...not sure what it is...never did this before but i know after driving awhile before and i would start the car i would need to give it a lil gas so it would idle on its own but would be fine after that, and would never have this problem that it has now. any ideas?? where exactly is both the icv's?

Chuckbob's correct. I'm betting vacuum leak. Whne the car is cold stick your head under the hood and listen for a whistle of unmetered air entering the system. I've run into this problem twice. Once was the intake bellow and once it was a blown intake manifold gasket at cylinder #6. These have occurred to many others. Use your ear and fingers to locate the leak. Fiddle with the hoses and put a finger in the intake junction with the head at all the cylinders. When you find it, you hear a chage in the tone of a high pitched whistleing sound.
        Let's go exploring!
