    Rough idle after battery disconnect

Each time I disconnect the battery to work on my e30, it idles a little rough and a little slow when I start it back up. I'm told that the computer needs to re-set. Is there anything I can do?

^ This. 15-30 miles is what my 325i needed.

your car's comp needs to relearn how it should behave after you disconnect the battery. Just drive it for a while. Should be okay again in less than 50 miles

it's a Kenny Powers quote on wheels

Same thing happens here, it goes away after a short drive.

Dive it hard. You'll bitch slap it into slightly more peppy feel to the petal. Good for 1/2 HP. ( have no proof of the HP, just that it will feel better)
