    ground control rsm question

Ok I feel bad about even having to ask this but how exactly do they go in? By this I mean does the piece shaped like a C with the studs go inside the trunk with the studs sticking down into the wheel well or do the studs stick up through the trunk and the plate mounts on top inside the trunk. They're quite different from factory type mounts so I just don't know. Thanks.

the mount goes under the trunk, with the studs sticking up into it.

I haven't actually done this, but I'll take a swing at it...

I believe the studs should stick up into the trunk and the c shaped piece goes inside the trunk also (it's a reinforcement plate).

just a tip i learned from doing the rsms is that it is 100x easier to tighten the nut on the shock before you put them in the car
