13 button OBC Tabs

Hi I purchased a 87 325i convertable from Victoria BC, my obc has different tabs on its front, consum, speed, HR-Date etc. different from most I have seen, as no Avmph etc. Problem is it won't reset to f in Temp and gals instead of Liters. Is this because it is a Canadian car? I've tried pushing every button combo and nothing, I did get it to set to am/pm and the date but all other functions are in Liters, Centigrade etc. is there any help or am I stuck, thanks.

Press avg mpg and hit the small round button at the bottom right.

Hi thanks but that is the problem, there is no av mpg etc. instead it has a button labeled speed and another comsum it is different from all the other obc I have seen, thanks.

Consum would be the same as mpg, try that. Post a picture too as I'm curious what it looks like.

Oh, lookit that. Yeah, so you can use either the "speed" or "consum" key OP, then press the small round button at bottom-right.\


Also, that OBC is on the wrong side of the panel...

Yep that is the one that I have so if I push all the right buttons and it still wont change to english and F for temp I'm guessing that there is something wrong with the obc thanks again.
