Tachometer and other gauges not working

I'm in the process of having a lot of things done to my 87 vert. It's in really good condition, an overall 6 out of 10, the way it is currently, but I'm taking the extra tedious steps to make it perfect. One of my issues is a tachometer and econometer that work very sporadically, and a temperature gauge that might be possessed by a demonic force. The LED service interval lights are also out. I've tried the simple step of replacing the fuses, but that accomplished nothing. I'm nearly certain that it's the si board batteries. I'm pretty hands on, and capable of simple DIY things, but when it comes to disassembling the instrument cluster and soldering, I'm not at all comfortable doing so, and have zero soldering experience. So I'm looking for a professional to intervene, but can't find anyone near me in the greater NYC area, so far the best example I can find is a small company in the SF Bay area. I don't have a problem shipping it to them, but I'd rather just bring it somewhere local to me. If anyone knows of a place closer to me, please let me know, I'd really appreciate it, and want to do it pretty soon, while my baby is already down, being serviced for mechanical work. Thanks!

Thanks, but they're the ones in the SF Bay area that I was talking about. I'm in CT, and am looking for someone close to me, in the greater NYC area.

        Thanks for the referral Dnguyen,

We repair and sell Si boards for clients around the world. Many of the East coast shops use us to repair SI boards and clusters.

We also have SI boards in stock that I can send you and you can return your original for a core refund. In the past 4 years, we've probably refurbished at least 250 SI boards. LMK if you are ready to ship.

Any Idea how to check a tach input . . I Have tried multiple Tachs in the original Cluster and have now tried multiple clusters. So I need to start chasing the problem but I have no idea where to begin.
