Wheel Wobble and "Uneven" Tires w/ Spacers

    Hey all,

Tried posting on the FB page but didn't get a definitive answer. I recently installed 15mm spacers in the front and 20mm in the back, and there are a few issues that need addressing.

First off, tires are unevenly pushed out. The driver side is somehow more out than the passenger side, where the front is obviously sticking in way more, and the rear is slightly more in. The toe on the right rear is about -.13 degrees while the driver side is about 0. Camber is only off by .2 degrees in the front, with passenger side more negative. I have worn control arm bushings which might affect some of that.

Another problem is my wheel wobble. After balancing the tires, my car shakes to an insane degree past 45 mph. It's very annoying. Steering becomes stiffer but I feel like the shuddering is coming from the rear.

Any help? First time with spacers and too many problems already. Ugh.

Haha. Yeah, understood there. But it was never a problem until I put spacers on. New tires and all, but once the spacers were on the ride was noticeably worse. I'm getting new bushings this week.

          Are they hubcentric spacers?

Do you have aftermarket wheels? You need hubcentric spacers, hopefully yours are. The heavy vibration means your wheels are not concentric with the hub. Jack up the car and spin the wheels by hand and watch one spot on the edge of the wheel. You will notice it move in and out instead of staying in the same spot while rotating. You need hubcentric rings to properly address this. In order to buy the right size, you need the center bore diameter of your wheels. The factory hub is 57.1mm. So you would need ***your center bore in mm/57.1mm*** rings.

This is a good read as well: http://www.hubcentric-rings.com/why_hub_centric_rings/

            Get/do an alignment too.
