    Fuel Injectors Clogged

Is there anyway to find out if your fuel injectors are clogged, besides taking off the fuel rail, and disconnecting the injectors? Also if your fuel injectors were clogged, would that cause the car to idle weird or cause the cylinder to not function?

Now I'm not just being me here, this is beyond that in all seriousness

Put your tools down, and take your car to a mechanic or at least someone that knows what they are doing.

Your car came to me in a dream pleading for help. I'm just doing what I promised to it, suggesting to you that you stop molesting it.

Saul, how many miles are on those injectors?

And you cant really inspect them unless you take them out...i would try putting everything back to stock in and see if things even out, then proceed from there.

have you put the stock FPR back in yet?

What probably happened (assuming the injectors aren't clogged) is you had way too much fuel flow. The ECU wasn't really meant to run with bigger injectors or more fuel pressure, much less both. with so more fuel it probably got confused and wasn't able to reduce the duty cycle, running like poo instead.

another possibility, when I did my injectors I was sure to clean the area around where they plug into the intake. it was covered in all kinds of grime and gunk, if I had gotten some of that inside the intake or on the tips of the injectors it would have caused hell. maybe that's what happened?

anyway, if the stock FPR doesn't help anything, you're left with taking the new injectors out and having them cleaned.

I reset my ECU last night, then started my car up at 30psi idle(lean) for about 5 minutes, then I adjusted my fuel pressure to 37.5psi, then on to stock 3.0bar..I can feel that I gained alot more power, after doing this. It was just before I had a leak in my vacuum line. Also, I will take my car down to the mechanic and have them clean and diagnose my injectors for 75 bucks, so I know all and all is good. And yes jordan you dont have to be a smart ass  , I DO know what I am doing, the main problem is possibly my fuel injectors are clogged, I took apart my fuel rail last night and inspected if there was any leaks and replaced the o-rings. All in all it really did help, and further advice for injector swaps is replacing the o-rings, even if they look to be in good condition.

I am just learning, and I would appreciate(even though you are site admin) to stop being such an ass. Thank you.

Yeah, i mean not past 6600rpms, I played around with the engine while it was at 30psi for a little bit, then played with it more when i upped the fuel pressure.

Yeah, I am going to clean my injectors(I think they are a bit clogged). Thanks for checking up bro.

One question, can i ease my ECU in with just a stock 3.0bar FPR, instead of going from a 2.5 bar FPR to 3.0bar fpr?

                      Thanks,
