    Need AC help.

Okay so, when I bought m e30 the air conditioner wasn't blowing cold, so I just recently to it to the shop to be looked at. So the first thing the did was a recharge and examin the system. After the were done with this they told me that they were leaks and other things that need to be addressed. So to day I went today to have these problems addressed. So they replaced drier and safety switch as well as checked wires and fuses, they said all wires and fuses looked good but they said the compressor still won't come on. They came to the conclusion that the ac compressor relay was bad. They said the ac compressor would take 2 MONTHS to come from Germany, so I went to a junk yard and got the ac compressor relay off of a 90 e30. So after replacing the switch the compressor comes on but it's still not blowing cold. Does any one know what it could be?

My compressor had completely seized, and the clutch had torn in two, so while it appeared to be engaging, the center part was still not spinning. I think it's because it sat for so long.

Just remove your A/C completely, you don't need that

You need guages to see what's going on when the compressor is engaged. Best bet is to take it back to them so they can do this. The guages will tell if there is a clog somewhere, or if it's over/under charged.

Can't stress this enough. There are a lot of moving pieces and parts to the AC system- it's not even close to filling and hoping that cold air blows out.

Head to the junkyard- I got all my pieces to do mine from a '91 vert. R134 Sanden Compressor/R134 Evap Valve/Switches etc. Just needed to buy a new condenser and dryer and I was on my way to 28Degree temps.
