    AC Condensation Leaking on Floor

My leak is on the passenger side floor board coming from in front of the center console area. It comes from the area where the switch and evaporator are located, inside that black plastic housing.

I know there is at least one thread on this topic, but it reference the drain hose being cracked or disconnected. I have verified my drain is connected and not cracked. The water appears to be dripping from the seem in the two piece plastic housing that covers the switch. The seem is just to the passenger side of the drain.

The shop that replaced my AC lines a couple years ago took all that apart. Is there a seal on that seem? There is also no insulation around the switch, is that necessary? Anything else to look for?

My first suspicion would be that one of the drains is plugged. You can "rod" them out from underneath the car. If the drains are working and in good condition and the bottom of the HVAC that serves as a catch pan isn't cracked there should never be enough water in the catch pan for any seals to become an issue.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Yes there is a seal in the joint between the passenger side plastic cover and the hvac assembly.

I'll clean the drain then seal that seem if needed.

I believe you need to pull the dash to change the hvac seal.

That is correct. And even then it is something of a beech.
