Has anyone changed this window seal ?

Trying to figure out how to replace window seal #1 but do I have to remove the window or can I just glide it into its place?

and also for the outer window weatherstrip that's behind the chrome trim, will it be easier to remove it if i take off the door panel ?

I just did it and you have to remove the window. Just make sure you know to remove and install the window. It was relatively easy removing it, but I had a difficult time with installing it and just ran out of time and patience so I just hired a professional to install it before I ended doing more damage than good.

The inner door panel has no influence on removing the outer trim piece. I use a plastic door panel tool and GENTLY pry it off together with the rubber strip. The same same 4-5 spring clips that hold the trim piece to the door also hold the rubber piece to the metal part. All fairly self evident once you get it off the door

Did you just remove the window or did you have to remove the rail as well ?

Work it up gently along its entire length (sounds dirty I know) and put a cloth under your pry tool so you don't scratch the paint. The metal trim itself will flex some.
