    Cluster Removal/Install (Extra Lights?)

I just removed my old cluster and these lights were not plugged into it. They were just sitting behind the old cluster. There are no extra holes in my new cluster for these to fit in, unless I'm retard and I'm over looking something. These don't twist in either. They look like they push in.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Lights that press into the little circular holes on the bottom of the cluster are "check engine" light on the left side if it's a 325i or 88 325, ABS light also presses in ...I'm not sure. Just look behind the cluster on the bottom and it will be clear.

Thank you. I will have check and see when I install my new battery. Sitting for seven months killed the old one. Is there any manual that will decipher which one is which? It seems I have some research to do.

When you have power to the car the CEL should come on when the ignition is switched on (and go off when the engine starts). You should also be able to identify each light from the wire colors, see the wiring diagrams at http://wedophones.com/BMWManualsLead.htm
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Nice! Thank you sir! I bought the wrong battery. I have to get a smaller one with the posts reversed. Damn negative cable in the trunk is too short.
