Swapped steering wheel and turn signal's messed up

So I just received an AC Schnitzer wheel with the hub Adapter. After swapping it with my mtech wheel, the turn signals won't turn off automatically at the end of a turn. I replaced the mtech wheel back on just to doublecheck and the signals worked fine so it is definitely when I put on the new wheel.
Full disclosure, when I was messing around with installing the new wheel a second washer appeared while I was installing it. This washer was not part of my previous assembly and the guy who sold me the wheel said there was no washer included with the new wheel he sold me so it's a mystery, maybe it was lodged in the interior of the wheel and dropped out when I was shaking it. Just to be sure I tried installing the wheel with the second washer as well as my washer from my previous assembly and it made no difference in whether or not the turn signal worked.
The question is, does anyone have any tips or thoughts on why my turn signals won't work properly with the AC Schnitzer wheel installed? Thanks

flip both steering wheels over and you'll see the difference. That's your problem.

So the hub adapter affects the turn signal canceling function? Is there any solution like a better adapter?

your hub should have a piece sticking out. That piece snap the turn signal arm back into the neutral position when the steering wheel is turned.

you'll have to fine a hub that has that piece. I'm not positive if the momo hub has it.

There are two part numbers you will need. 2 screws in the above package pictured. And a ring piece. All under 20 bucks.

            Which ACS steering wheel?

That wheel above is the same ACS 3 spoke 36cm.

Check my build thread; I have a lengthy post about ACS steering wheels. It needs updated with my most recent acquisition.

Great thread. I was able to cannibalize the part from a spare mtech. Did the trick and love the wheel. Now I just need the matching shift knob.Click image for larger version

I have been trying to get my hands on a leather shift knob for many moons.

If you get one before me... I will have no choice but to cry. Going rate is about $200.

I haven't seen them listed for a while. I remember a year ago there were three or four on eBay

I wonder if there are more scarce than the wheel simply because the plastic thread gets broken and worn after a time and no one wants to deal with replacing it?

                            Whats the two parts exactly?

I recently replaced my Momo with a Italvolanti and have lost the clicker disengaging. Not a big deal, but it would be nice to have a cheap fix

In the bag are two screws. Those screws affix that shiny new part on the steering wheel splines. Quick search of parts catalog will get you its part number.
