Part identification / repair help! ( oil level sensor?? )

Hey guys, so I recently picked up an '87 325E. It's my first car, so I'm learning as I go.

I noticed I've been leaking oil but I couldn't find out from where til now.
I'm assuming this is an oil level / temperature sensor or something? The leak is pretty bad so I'd like to repair this as soon as possible. Maybe I was using the wrong terms, but via search I couldn't find anything on this.

Any advice on how I go about fixing this?
Any part #'s I should know?

Remove the spade wire connector, unscrew old oil pressure switch, replace with new. It's an inexpensive part and yes, they will leak as they get old.

There is a crush washer in there that seals it- get a new one just to be sure.
