    Head GAsket

Is a special head gasket required for going to a +1 oversize bore (85mm) and +2 oversize bore (86mm)?

    Cheers

I believe that a stock headgasket is useable with +1 overbore, but at +2, you need a special one.

can head gaskets be rebored/machined/enlarged slightly to fit a +2?

I am planning on doing a stroker in the next 6 months and i am just planning ahead at this stage. So far i am thinking about using MM pistons which are +2 and want to be able adjust the CR slightly by changing the thickness of the head gasket in case when i get the parts the CR is too high becasue of any head or block skimming required.

What about Custom gaskets? I know VAC have M20 multi layered steel gaskets available in a varitey of thicknesses but is their anyone else that does these for M20 bearing in mind that i may need a +2 one.

      Cheers
