    No Warm Start 325e

I have a 1987 325e. It was running and idling good with no problems since I've got it running again. I decided to drive it on a little longer driver, car ran great on about 30 minute drive then went in to eat some dinner and came back out and the car wouldn't start. If I floored the pedal it would sputter and try to run but would never stay running. I let it sit overnight, and came back and it started right up. After that on the drive back home it ran fair but would act like it was going to die at a few stop signs.

    Any idea where to start?

hook up a gauge to check the fuel pressure, I'll be you anything that your fuel pump is seizing up when it gets warm.

check fuel pressure and have the injectors rebuilt.

        Sounds like a fuel pump.
You have two. One in the tank, under the back seat. One under the car, just behind the front drivers seat. I would replace both and the filter( under the car, drivers side, just before the firewall). When one goes it tends to wear on the other. That way you would know you are good to go on a trip.

It ended up being the coolent temp sensor. Changed it out and no problems since.
