id buy it, but im an utter whore for tan interiors
There is a full tan sport interior sitting just down the road from me. Would you be interested in it? The only flaw is a small tear in the drivers side bolster.
Here are pictures of the car. i still havent gotten a chance to get over and check it out agian but he said he would take 1500. Originally wanted 3000. Would you buy it? Details are above.
I don't think that this is a 325is. It has bottlecap wheels instead of basketweaves, and the clock instead of OBC. I can't tell about the Perhaps it's a "es", or a regular model with the optional air dam installed.

count the tach, its an 'i' or 'is' unless some one swapped in an 'i' cluster.
he mentioned the previous owner doing a bumper swap or somthing from an 'e' and it also does have a basketweave spare in the trunk, which could be the original wheels.
Then do two clean/rinse cycles with Auto RX http://www.auto-rx.com/index.html This will de-sludge the engine, unstick the rings, and condition seals. It's amazing stuff and works really well. I'm currently the first rinse cycle in my 88 325is with 228k, and it already running 100% better.
If the smoke is for just a short period after the engine is started (especially after sitting for a while), it is probably worn valve guides/seals. The only fix for that is replacing guides/seals.
