    grinding during sharp turns

    Hello,

Just wondering if you guys could help me out. It started from the front drivers side, during sharp turns, there is a nasty grinding noise, just when the wheel is fully, or close to fully cranked. It has now started to do the same on the passengers side. Exaclty what part(s) must be replaced?

Thanks so much for any input/help

    Luke

Could be the P/S pump failing. Does it do it when you are moving or when you are stopped? Possibly the rack too, but most likely not. Check the level of P/S fluid in your resevuair (spelling?)

Do you have stock wheels? Wrong sizing/offset could cause aftermarket wheels to rub at full lock. In my MG, even with the stock size wheels, my aftermarket aluminum ones rub the tie-rod at full lock.

Nitro, they are stock bottle caps, but they do have 15 mm spacers in each corner. It is my friends car by the way.

              Thanks again

I had that happen on stock wheels... the fender liner in front of the wheel came loose and started rubbing the tire. it was bad in reverse.

One of mine just started that. Except its more of a click or a pop with every revolution of the wheel instead of a grind. Isnt that notorious of the bearing?
