Swapping iX and 318is o2 sensor

My 318is is running code 1222. I've got a 325ix new o2 sensor from when I owned one. Both cars call for 4 wire o2 sensor. BMW parts are different numbers, even with the Supersede numbers. But both cars call for the same Generic Bosch o2 sensor 13231. Will this work? Me thinks yapper. Thanks for help in advance.

yes. verify the pins are the same by pulling back the boot and checking wire colors. probably the only difference is the length of the wires.
