    ATE or Lucas Girling?

What is the easiest way to find out which brakes I have? I have a 91 325 is cab.

I am overseas, trying to order parts for a brake rebuild, and found there are different brake systems. Is there an easy way to tell which I have? I will be emailing my wife, so hopefully it is a really obvious visual indicator.

    Thanks in advance!

Visually they are stamped either GIRLING or ATE. Should be pretty easy to spot

BMW, or Bayerische Motoren Werke, is a manufacturer of premium cars and motorcycles based in Munich, Germany. Forming part of the BMW Group, which is also the parent of Mini and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, BMW's focus is on 'Sheer driving pleasure'. The company has a rich motorsport history and continues to participate in a range of racing categories around the world, while its automotive division produces a broad range of premium vehicles including hatchbacks, sedans, coupes, convertibles, sports cars and SUVs. Key Australian model lines include the 1 Series, 2 Series, 3 Series, 4 Series, 5 Series and 7 Series, as well as the X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, X7 and XM SUVs. BMW's local electric range includes models such as the i3 Sedan, i4, i5, i7, iX, iX1, iX2 and iX3, while BMW M variants sit across several passenger-car and SUV lines. BMW has also reused the i3 name overseas for a newer electric sedan, distinct from the earlier i3 hatchback previously sold in Australia.
