    Bell sound.....

Whenever I am driving for a couple of minutes a bell sounds, at first I thought it was a seatbelt safety but it's not........what is it actually?

    Thanks, George

Probably the temperature bell. I think it 'dongs' when the OBC temperature gets to 36 degrees.

my car never dings. genius PO turned off that annoying buzzer! only problem is occasionally forget my lights are on, and the max speed warning ding doesn't work......but it is worth not having to hear it when I open my door and keys are in the ignition.

When I first got my car, we were driving it back from Eugene during winter (about 2 hours), and it kept doing that. We were freaking out, we didn't know what it was.

That sound's been confusing the hell out of me for the last four months, I am so glad to know what that's all about. I wish these cars had a sound for when you open the door and the headlights are on.
