    Budget M10 Turbo project

I'm going at this project as on-the-cheap as possible. I'm not cutting corners where it really matters, but pretty much everything I get will be used (junkyard). This setup will have to be reliable, as its for my daily driver. I know I'm going to want to run a Garrett T3 turbo, but thats about it. I'm only looking for high 100's or low 200's as far as power output goes...oh and this will be my first real engine modification. I have a few questions:

How should I go about managing fuel? I've heard of people using a Vortec 12:1 FMU, but I have no idea how this works. I like the idea of megasquirt, but I can't afford it just yet.

For the piping, I'll be PVCing it at first, just for the mock-up and the drive to the exhaust shop (to get it all done right...i cant weld)

I'll be using a recirculated DSM BOV, probably from a 2nd gen.

For the intercooler, it will probably be a small unit like terrybpp's first IC.

I am unfamiliar with MAF upgrades? Dont know the difference between MAP and MAF or any of that...anyone know of a book or something that i can read that has this info?

I'm gonna have the exhaust custom made at an exhaust shop, all crush bends, but probably 2 or 2.5 inch piping

the exhaust manifold and flange will probably be a stock manifold flipped upside down with that adapter plate.

Any comments or questions? I desparately need help with this project.
