converting A/C to R134?

pfft mix that up with black leather in a black car, and you have an oven boys,

and i agree with jordan ac is useless, but since i am going to be selling the car after i finish lowering ti and putting the rims on i will keep ac and recharge it because that would be a great selling feature imo.

and for ken, i live about 40 minutes away from the boarder.

let me know, maybe you can drag up some others up and have a mini meet.

wow, thanks for all the replies. i've really learned quite a bit and will definitely be converting it to r134a. if funds allow it i will go all the way with a new compressor and all. i'll most likely end up just flushing the system and doing the dryer thing. i'll have my mechanic do it, as they have worked on the A/C many times before.

ps- spaz i'll be contacting you soon about getting the parts needed to do this. i'll PM you first :)

The dryer is necessary to replace if it ever is exposed to air.

That means, if you replace the compressor, you will have to replace the dryer.

40 minutes, that's pretty close. I'm about 20 minutes from the OR/WA border... So probably 5-5.5 hours up there. :)

yeah i plan on eventually replacing the entire a/c system. i might not even need to use all this info if i get the other car im looking at. i'll most likely get the euro though. im glad ive learned something new though.
