    Gas pedal differences

One type has a larger plastic trim that looks like it holds the carpet in place, while the replacement one that I have and what was previously in my car does not have that. I looked on realoem and the p/n is for 88 and later.

        P/n for post 88:
        35 41 1 156 488

        P/n for pre-88:
        35 41 1 118 210

        Both parts are listed as:

        Superseded by:

        35411156488 (07/08/1988 — ), nonexchangeable retrospectively

Part 35411118210 was found on the following vehicles:
        3' E30   (12/1981 — 05/1993)
        5' E28   (09/1980 — 12/1987)
