I am somewhat hesitant to say that my car is in such original condition, including most small detail items ,original spare tire, flashlight etc...even the original marked water hoses ,I am the first person to actually change many original things ,water pump ,idle pulley ,timing belt..even the rear brake pads ( textar)may be the originals ,although I do not know if it was common factory practice to use different pads in the front (pagid).so,I have been locating all of the small items it came with from the factory just to have them ,even including the original valve stem caps..

The recall mainly addressed the pressure problem with a bypass valve located just before the heater core, they did however also replace the coolant cap as part of the recall.
The new part number 17114379047 is 1.2bar, the old part numbers where:
17111152060 which was 1.0 bar.
17111152061 was used from 1981 until 1984 which was 1.2 bar.Your resource to do-it-yourself and interesting bmw and e30 stuff: www.rtsauto.com
