S50 Swap DME Issues - Which ones are compatible ?

Hey guys

I've got a 91 318is with a 95 S50 inside of her. Been experiencing ECU issues and will require a new DME. Now I know I can get a DME from a 95 M3, but I'm wondering which other DME's would be compatible so that my search isn't so difficult. I was thinking maybe a red label NV ?

After a quick search I narrowed it down to 413... however how can I tell if it requires Silver or Red label?

Get a red label 413. You won't need to get an EWS delete chip. Also check your grounds to the ECU. I had DME issues with a bad ground.
