So I took my car for a pretty long drive (2 hours) and when I got home the car was smoking so I drenched it with water and I noticed this yellow fluid all over the bottom of the car. Oil brake steering and coolant are all up so idk what it is.
Freon (r-12) or modern refrigerant (r-134a) are gas, not liquid.
There is a small amount of oil in the system, but we are talking a 6-8 ounces total.
I would look carefully for fluid leaks from the other systems before I would suspect you would get that kind of mess out of your AC system.
Since there is no AC belt, I suspect the system works, which leads me to believe the only contents to the AC system in your car is the oil in the compressor, which again, is only a few ounces, and with no belt, there is no moving parts, which means there is nothing to push it out anywhere.
Like Andy says, if your AC is offline and it leaks it would leak constantly until there was nothing left to leak so yes, he is sure. If you are convinced that's what it is, then you have answered your own question.
