    Driveshaft center bearing breaking?

I have a 1985 325e with a stroker engine and it is boosted. But the center driveshaft bearing keeps breaking no matter how much i replace the bearing. Should i just get a custom one piece driveshaft?

Have you checked your u-joints? Bad ones can stress the CSB.

Are you getting a quality part? Are you preloading the bearing? Is the driveshaft no longer balanced?

The bearing shouldn't be taking the worst of the hit-
to the above, I'd add alignment.

Unless you are 'drifting', at which point you might just be moving things
around so much that the CSB is the weak link.

And yes, several have done one- piece- look in the trans and driveline subsection.
        It's a custom thingy.

Thx. I am a little new to this, is there anything that is easy to look for to tell if the alignment is off.
