Help finding gears on getrag 260

Im doing a auto to manual swap and I bought this transmission and cant seam to find all the gears or maybe im doing something wrong to prevent me finding the gears but can you help me out? Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gl2YAiCxzRk

Well first off you are shifting from the wrong side of the tranny and the transmission is backwards. You should be shifting with your right hand, with the tranny to your right and with the bell housing pointing forward. Because of that the gears you were shifting into in the video are backwards. 2nd gear in the video is 5th gear. Reverse on a BMW is near 1st gear and is spring loaded. The gears pattern looks like this.

Wish I had seen it yesterday. I drove home from Asheville after doing my 5 sped swap in reverse.
