As I recall, once the sunroof panel is removed you should have access to fit that rail. Removing the panel is easy but requires care not to damage it. Search for a thread "e30 sunroof removal"

once you get the sunroof panel off you might find that the rear rain gutter is just pushed back into back and in the area above the rear seats. the rear gutter is pulled forward by the interior sunroof panel. Often times, the plastic clip (image below) that connects the two break and the gutter no longer gets pulled forward.

maybe its the part you ordered and are waiting for, but for reference, the PN: 54121934933

Thank you for your information. You were right! i found the gutter inside in the back. Pulled out, fixed, but i found another thing that disturbes me, tre sliding arms, that actually lifts the sunroof, are not sycronised. one is getting up early than another one. What can i do? . I there a way to syncronise or i need to replace the Gear+ linings+ arms?

Sorry I didn't see this earlier.

I had the same issue. I fixed it when I replaced the crank handle. When you take it out, you will see that there are two separate lines that go on either side of the crank gear, one for each side of the roof. Once it's out, you can move them individually.
