    What is the block part?

    What is the part numbered 30, it seems to be some sort of reinforcement? Does it go under the sump or over the top of it? I have never seen a pic of it before

    Thats the flywheel/belhousing cover. It bolts up after the oil pan actually. Its not 100 percent necessary but it keeps everything from getting inside the belhousing and gives some extra support.

      Correcto. Bolts to the block and to the bellhousing.
