    OBC Not working

Just finished replacing my odometer gears and the job went relatively smooth. Fired the car up and took it for a spin to see that everything is working as expected on the odometer.

I did notice that my light on the dashboard (over the tachometer) is out. Maybe it got knocked loose or possibly the bulb went out - should be an easy fix. I looked over at my OBC and noticed that it's lit up but nothing is displaying. Did I knock loose a different connection by chance?

Did you make sure the 3 big plugs are plugged in all the way and seated correctly. I forgot which one it is but 1 know if one of them isn't seated correctly it won't read. Make sure you didn't bend one of the little prongs behind the cluster that plugs into one the big connectors

Thanks for the quick reply efficient.

Turned out to be a loose connection, got it pushed in and it's good to go. The OBC is still very dim and nearly impossible to see on a bright day (every day in FL) which I'll need to figure out.

Check the dimmer on the headlight switch. It should rotate freely.

Both the 6 and 13 button obc's have a backlight. The 6er uses a common cluster bulb. The 13 uses a light bar that can be repaired or upgraded
