    Early fuel tank internal baffle

So Google and a forum search couldn't help me on this one so coming to you guys since I know someone here has the answer. Do the early E30 55L fuel tanks have the internal "baffle" that the fuel pump pickup resides in like the later model 63L tanks? The baffle I'm referencing is about a 6" diameter cup that sits just below the fuel pump hole in the tank.

I have a 63L tank in my car now and it has the siphon tube and the ~6" baffle cup. I'm trying to convert to a 55L tank for a number of reasons, but having that baffle inside will throw a wrench in my plans. Trying to get an idea of what I'm working with before I go out and buy a new 55L tank. Thanks guys!

Yes, there's a cup at the bottom of the pickup on the early tank.

Thanks man! I figured there would be. I think I can work with the cup in the tank for my setup. I am making a 3/16" aluminum cover and hanging two OEM early model lift pumps from it which I plan to have sitting in the cup. In the configuration I have in my head with the pickup screens sitting side-by-side there should be plenty of room inside the cup for both pickups to rest. I measured the ID of the cup to be a little more than 5-3/4" in my late model tank which should be the same in the early model.
