      Cheapo depo

Well I wanted to go cheapo depo and since I already pulled the motor our I just wanted to know if I could stick the crank in with no other mods, and if I did would it be a bad thing. I don't care about my CR I just want to run 8psi + and be faster than all my civic friends, that are talking shit in the background as I type.

AFAIK it wont work at all unless you use the eta connecting rods, and unless you change the pistons, the motor will not even run at that CR.

How are you going to turbo it if you won't spend a couple hundred bucks on the actual engine?

Yes, I would highly suggest buying new pistons, or custom rods.

Yes I have a starion intercooler, the core measures 16.5x8x2.75.

Skat, that looks BADASS. good work. Cant wait to see it running.

Yeah I suppose I should spend the money.... but I just got the entire engine rebuilt 4k ago and my friend just pulled off a complete perfectly running turbo with intercooler and Mitsu 16g turbo for around 400-500 bucks. So I'm assuming I shouldn't stick my I pistons on eta connecting rods?

Starion intercoolers ownz, too bad i couldnt get one.

Thanks matt, i also can't wait to see it running.

Hortos, sometimes u gotta loose some dough on these things, too bad you had the engine rebuilt 4k miles ago, i've been buying parts stuff since summer, i know its hard. Also remember the aftermarket world of the e30 is not as big as hondas, mitsu, etc. thats why they can turbo charge their cars for way less than us e30 owners, just my .02.

I had my motor rebuilt about 10k-15k ago (don't really know) and fully intend to put it down for a rebuild within the next 10k miles.
