my tach likes to stick... how about yours?

Well.. just like another member mentioned.... if i swap my cluster out... chances are i'll still get another cluster with probs...

the good news at least... is that this cluster has a working odometer...

but the tach needle sticks when its cold...

    whats the fix for this?

mine does this once in a blue moon when it's really cold.. goes away once the car is warmed up though, and never happens during the 3 warm seasons.

Just hit the dash. My coolant needle likes to freak out so I just hit it, and it behaves.

          yes, and yes.

temp needle freaks sometimes, but a thump will make it go right back down to normal..

and the Tach is sticky sometimes in the mornings.. after i drive for about 5-10 minutes its fine usually.

          Any Fixes?

okay... it was reallly cold out yesterday morning... and not only was my tach SUPER sticky (it jumps from 1k to 3k and back to 1k... those are the only spots it reads)

but my odometer won't roll unless its warm. And the fact that it does this during SUMMER mornings worries me about the upcoming colder seasons

is your car an I or E? I have an E cluster that has under 80k on it and everything works fine. It will be up for sale cheap soon!
