    M30 oil leak : U r g e n t

    Fellow r3v'rs.

    URGENT !

Fired it up. Ran it for a second. OIL GUSHING OUT. Seems to come from atop the starter. Where shall we be looking? It was intense.

Where would engine oill have an escape from that area.. firewall, up high?

Messed/cracked up head or block? It's not like there are any external oil lines on the motor, so it's coming from somewhere.

Has it been below freezing there recently?

            Nailed it. Good call.

This is how I temp fixed it.

Everything is getting buttoned up. We ran it for 5 minutes today, first time the car has been running in over a year. Still needs the exhaust to be installed, the intake to be figured out, and the powdercoated valve cover installed. I flipped the airbox upside down just to start bleeding it, hah. The ignition coil is in the way of it sitting flush, not sure how others have mounted it. But obviously they relocated the coil.

Thank you Kershaw for the help!

He has always been a huge help in this process. I can do some things on my own but when I need work done, and motivation, he comes over! Thanks dude.

Winched it in tonight. Not a chance to get trans fluid. Will try for this weekend as the week gets hectic real soon with work and stuff.

This thing is going to be awesome.
