In the early models the track itself looks like a tube with an inner race that the motor drives. The motor comes off with 4 screws and make sure that race moves smooth inside the tube. In my case the inner race was sticking real bad. A lot of WD40 loosened it up. But if this inner race is not moving easily, it will burn up a motor.
Blown fuse from rolling down same side of the window?

Thanks for this, I took it off and turns out I have a late model motor. I think I've isolated the issue, turns out the motor has a burning smell when I roll it up and down enough and the others don't. So I assume it's actually dying out.In the early models the track itself looks like a tube with an inner race that the motor drives.
