    Glove box tumbler swap?

My latch is broken and the two options are to buy a new latch without a key or one that has a key but it's not the car's key.

Question, has anyone on here swapped the tumbler form their broken latch with a new latch that comes with a key? Is this possible?

Yes. It's comes right out when you remove the snap ring.

      Very easy job.

It's easy to do, but I'd rather use a latch with no lock so that if someone were to break in to your car they wouldn't also wreck the dash/glove box.
