Are 100 watt hella 9005 bulbs going to be too much for my hella ellipsoids? i'm not sure what kind of wiring the stock headlights have but i'm worried this might be too much and i'd kind of like to avoid having to run a harness. the bulbs are cheap though, only $8 each from summit.

I can see why the Us ellipsoids would melt. They are all plastic housings. HID's is the way to go.

YEah Ellipsoids are basically the only way to go on that one. Get a set of Euro smileys and you are good to go.
