Replace Camshaft upper Oil seal O-ring still leaking when car is running

Well did my timing belt and water pump and all the belts and hoses..
Good thing No coolant leaks ...Cool That's the goo news,Bad news is
I also decided to change the upper Crankshaft seal and the O-ring.....
Well looks like I have a leak only when the cars is running. As far i can see now that every thing back together it maybe coming from the head gasket in front or the o-ring and seal.Is there any way to check and inspect without taking it all apart without removing the timing belt and all the rest of the belts.
When i installed it i applied oil on the o-ring and seal..
Could it be that the O-ring roll up and didn't seat in the grooves cause it did slid on real easy....
Would i have to remove everything again just to get at that seal...
    So discouraging ...
On the good side i saved a lot a money in Labor..

You do have to remove the cam gear to get at the seal so would be replacing the timing belt if that's in fact where your leak is coming from. Try removing your distributor cap for a better look and defineitly double and triple check your VC gasket since they are notorious for leaking even when new.

Did you replace the 4 plugs and put a dab of grease on them (I use dielectric NOT rtv but that's just me). Bottom line is don't pull the belt until you are 100% sure it's the cam seal. If it is it could be because the cam is grooved and you need to seat the seal a bit deeper.

Ya the Camshaft seal and o-ring is what i changed and the belt is new.I'll check that tomorrow and get a better look see.
So instead I had to enjoy it today...Fun car to drive and lots of looks anyways took it on the hwy give a good 120 Kph 90mph,fast enough for me around here and nothing blew up that a good thing. Stayed around 1/4 above the blue mark to maybe 1/2 on the temp gauge, heats works will be great for the cold nights with top down, put a 80* Thermo no leaks in coolant hoses YET second day test.

Ya did the values all torque to specs Alright but i want it better.
      "first timer".
Ticking sound is more in the middle and hardly at both ends When listen with a big long screw driver "it really works"
so VC gaskets new with and those 4 plugs last month.
I do want to do the valves again so it would be a good time to check the cam gear and see it i have a leak..with a mini scope.
Die electric i use that stuff on everything lol I'll check those plugs at the same time and try that..

The seal is all the way down with new o-ring ..
New oil change routine to.I maybe get like A dime size drop and it stops i do see drips on the AC bracket and it's not making a terrible mess under the car i check to see dip stick oil and it didn't change.. much either...I know i have to fix this it bother me and Ya it could be worn out cam..I'm just going to drive her and enjoy
Well look on the bright side at least there's no coolant leak..

      And Jeff thank for input...Peace

Edit: the Cam shaft seal was press in by hand if that normal but had a really hard time trying to take it out...My buddy mechanic did it for me...

imuse an anaerobic sealant when installing seals so they don't move, which can make them harder to get out. On install smaller seals are often a hand fit (which is all the more reason to use the sealant).

Between the valves and injectors, M20s almost always sound like sewing machines

Well it doesn't leak while the car is sitting just when the car is moving how much i don't know I'll just keep checking the dip stick..
          So far it hasn't changed..

what is this stuff for next time "imuse an anaerobic sealant" RTV....
Can i use that stuff on the 4 plugs..
Going to check for that leak today...Love retirement...haha
