Nothing really. Just make sure you clean around the valve cover and underneath, so the injectors dont get clogged. Also I would lube your 0-rings with vasoline or tranny oil. When taking out the fuel rail, I would also disconnect the electrical fuel injector lines, otherwise its going to be a bitch to take out the fuel rail (I learned the hard way).

dont take off the intake manifold, i learned the hard way. Also, saul how did you manage getting the fuel rail off. it was like near imposible, becaus the one wire that runs to the bottom of the engine, dont know where it plugs in.

are you trying to run those with a factory ECU? I hope not! :)

It took me 4 hours to take off the fuel rail without unplugging the master plug. It is located 5 inches bellow the intake manifold, and has a large round center with a bunch of cords leading to it. I managed to take it off by getting a screwdriver and tapping each injector off the fuel rail, while moving it to the right(to get it out of the engine bay). It was hard, and took alot of time, since there were all of those wires in the way.

4 hours? man I did my installation in less than an hour, including cleaning up the crud around the manifold where the injectors plug in. I didn't completely remove the fuel rail either, I just pulled it out as far as I could until I could pop the old, cruddy injectors out. there wasn't that much room but it was plenty for my big hands.

did you pull the rail towards you? like through the small space between the intake manifold and the valve cover? or try and push it upwards?

It took me so long, because I also cleaned my injectors(not the proper way though :().

I pushed it up. I got the fuel rail out (and cleaned it). now that I think about it, I'm almost positive that I left the electrical rail in there, and just took out the inectors and used the extra room to pull out the fuel rail so I could clean it off.

I pulled up after undoing the four bolts that hold the rail on and unhooking all the wires and lines. I had to use a breaker bar and gently gently pry it off the top of the injectors using the valve cover as a fulcrum. Then to get it all out you may have to remove the valve cover, so be really careful not to drop anything in there and really clean up around it before you take it off.

My problem now is I have it all back together with new M50 injectors on my m20b25 motor. But two of the injectors don't have a tight seal and most gas onto the manifold. Are there any tricks to getting all the injectors to sit flush?

Another thing to note is make sure you make the injector plugs. I'm not entire sure if I got the firing order right. I may get lucky because 1-3-5 and 2-4-6 are on the same firing order so it was a 50/50 guess on each plug.

                              Remove intake manifold bracket
                              Pull valve cover
                              Unplug connector under intake mani
Gently Pull up on electrical connector and pull it out through the valve cover side
Remove fuel return and feed lines
Remove the 4 10mm bolts holding the rail on
Pull up firmly to pop injectors out of the manifold
You then should have plenty of room to maneuver the whole rail out with injectors attached.
