Can't Remove Throttle Cable from Firewall!!

    While you are under there, take a look at the plastic bushings the throttle rod that goes from the cable to the gas pedal rides in. The odds are good that they need to be replaced after this much time. The parts are cheap.
    The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

      stabbing at it with a flat head screw driver worked for me. kinda sucks but worth it once the new cable is installed. huge difference.
